the ship is one of the national key research projects, her smooth homeward voyage marks the global first intelligent 300k dwt ultra large crude carrier has got through the baptism of deep sea, well ready for oceangoing, which not only has significance of milestone in the development of intelligent ships, also represent a new chapter for dsic in construction of intelligent vlccs.
dsic was well prepared for the sea trial, in combination with building features of intelligent ships, programing the on-water installation and commissioning plan before ship undocking, and strictly requiring all units involved to conduct daily report in their daily on-water work. in order to accomplish installation of all intelligent equipment and mooring commissioning and declaration of intelligent systems with quality and quantity guaranteed in 45 days, various construction units set up a special position of general coordinator in charge of intelligent ships, who is responsible for construction of intelligent equipment or systems while organizing weekly meeting to discuss issues of intelligent ship construction so as to enable all issues to be solved quickly and effectively, and complete all commissioning and declarations of intelligent equipment before sea trial, which has guaranteed sea trial
during sea trial, all declarations have achieved one-time pass with 100% pass rate, which the shipowners and class surveyors have spoken highly of. the no.82 300k dwt vlcc is another masterpiece jointly made by dsic and cmes, following a successful delivery of the global first wind-sail propelled vlcc in 2018. she has achieved five major intelligent functions of ship navigation auxiliary autopilot, smart liquid cargo management, integrated energy efficiency management, equipment operation and maintenance, and whole ship-shore communication through structuring the network information platform of smart service systems. this is the global first ship with ship notations of i-ship（i，n、m、et、c）and ombo acquired from ccs, which has filled the international gap in the intelligent vlcc.
